If we told you, you would not believe us. Well Google is doing it. On their blog, Google explains how they have rented a herd of goats to clear weeds and brushes at their headquarters instead of using noisy mowers that pollute the air. The goats were rented from California Grazing. The goats not only eat the grass but provide fertilizing as well. Yeap, fertilizing the natural way. The grass will definitely stay greener at Google.
Google is not the only one using the goats. Yahoo had already been doing it. It seems that Yahoo got ahead of Google on this one. They pointed Google via twitter to a Flikr photo uploaded two years ago.
The idea is that of eco-friendly approaches to doing things. These sort of alternatives methods may seem strange today, but this is the lifestyle that is inevitable. The environmental problem is everyone’s problem. We all need to be part of the solution.
